The Wayward Moon

“The moon has lost its way

It’s left the nighttime

For the day

The wayward moon

It got away

The sun, the stars,

They had no say

“I like it here

I think I’ll stay

I’ve just grown tired

I’m not inspired

By the lost and lovelorn
