The first things I ever wrote for public consumption were sermons. I was a kid writing sermons. I graduated to bible studies and Sunday school lessons.
I came across this series, which I wrote some time in the 1980s for the Sunday school at the Turlock California church, my first pastorate. I was in my 20s. I have not added much polish or updating, just a little. I wanted it to reflect where my head, heart, and skill level was at the time. It is available for free. It includes the series on prayer, a teacher’s guide, and a student workbook. Download it for free and share it or use it however you please.
